Hispanic Heritage Month
"WCW" - Women Celebrating Women
This month is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the Hispanic and Latina women in public finance whose leadership, expertise, and dedication continue to shape our industry in powerful ways. Their voices, experiences, and achievements inspire progress and help build a stronger, more inclusive future for all of us.
2026 Honorees

Managing Director
PNC Capital Markets
I am a first-generation college graduate whose parents immigrated to the United States in the 1960s in search of greater opportunities for their children. Their sacrifices instilled in me a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for the opportunities I have been given. Today, I help charter schools access capital to build and improve educational facilities. While finance is my profession, the most rewarding part of my work is seeing completed schools filled with students who remind me of myself as a child. Knowing that I played a role in creating spaces where they can learn, grow, and dream bigger is incredibly meaningful
On Being a Hispanic Woman in Public Finance:
Being a Hispanic woman in public finance is both a privilege and a responsibility. I am proud to help charter schools access the resources they need to create learning environments where students can thrive.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career is seeing the tangible impact of our work in the communities we serve. It is especially meaningful when young people can see someone who looks like them helping make those opportunities possible.
My message to the next generation of Hispanic women is simple: your background is a strength, not a limitation. Be proud of where you come from, trust your voice, and never underestimate the impact you can have on those who are watching and following your path.
Fun Fact:
I'm married to my high school sweetheart and am the proud mother of two boys. My older son, Timmy, is a college student-athlete pursuing his passion for baseball, and my younger son, Matty, is a first grader who reminds me every day to find joy in life's adventures.
Pay it forward.
